As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I help clients unpack their narrative or the script that they have developed and subscribed to throughout their life. Understanding your narrative, making connections to repeating patterns, bringing them to the surface and confronting are just a few steps to getting closer to your authentic self.
My approach is an authentic client-therapist relationship, and compassion. I work from an integrative approach to co-explore with couples, families and adult individuals. Most clients often struggle in areas of love, relationships, loss, or major life transitions. The goal of the therapeutic work is to help clients move through the life cycle, and to develop a better understanding of the areas where they may feel stuck.
As part of my approach, I sometimes incorporate my dog Oliver or allow clients to bring in their dogs. The comfort of dogs are an amazing resource and addition to psychotherapy.
